Whitchurch 2nds 31 vs Stafford 12

Whitchurch 2nd team played Stafford at home on Saturday. In a closely fought first half with Whitchurch against the wind the teams were level at half time with a try a piece, Whitchurch one scored by Paddy Patrick. In the second half the home team took control and with tries by man of the match Barney Hill, Ricky Allman, Jimmy Leadham and Ian Gillespie came out winners 31 points to 12. Good kicking by Jimmy Leadham converting 3 conversions. This keeps the second team top of the Staffordshire merit table.
