Whitchurch seconds went to DKW with the bare minimum of players and were soon down to a man short when Jamie Henderson had to go off with a dislocated shoulder. This wound up the league leaders who managed five tries through Max Clark, Captain Brook Hill, Jack Giddings and two for the impressive Barney Hill. An assortment of kickers tried to convert but all failed or this could have been an even more resounding victory. The Whitchurch seconds extended their lead at the top of the table and look strong favourites to bring the trophy back to Edgeley Park.
